(ORLANDO, Florida)—Barcellona, Inc., an integrated marketing communications firm focused on green, real estate and social marketing has won top honors at this year’s International Builder Show (IBS) in Orlando, Florida. It was announced Thursday that the firm has won a gold award for Best Marketing Campaign for a Green Community from the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) “The NationalsSM” awards competition for its work with locally-owned green builder, Treasure Homes. The campaign was designed to close the innovative Fallen Leaf at Riverbend community in Natomas, the first zero-energy community in the City of Sacramento.
“It is especially gratifying to receive this honor in the green category because all of us at the agency have a passion for our environment,” said Rochelle Barcellona, president and creative director of Barcellona, Inc. “It is really an extension of our personal values into our professional lives.”
In addition, Barcellona was awarded a silver award for its own website as well as a regional award for best digital marketing tool. Nearly 1,400 entries were accepted and approximately 350 of those came from the west coast, making for a competitive field.
