FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Rocklin, CA) May 17, 2008 – The Ranch House, the resident-exclusive community center in Whitney Ranch master plan community in Rocklin, is the perfect place to enjoy the warm days of summer and host events of all kinds. Designed as a place for resident families and friends to gather, play, relax and enjoy all year, residents are invited to make themselves at home inside and out.

“We’ve already hosted birthday parties and graduation celebrations. And there is a wedding planned in June,” said Jessie Hinchman, activities director at The Ranch House “It is a perfect event venue for the (Whitney Ranch) residents.”

All of the single-family home residents at Whitney Ranch have exclusive access to all the homeowner facilities on site, many of which can be reserved for special occasions or large gatherings. Inside the Ranch House, stunning open beamed ceilings and a grand fireplace beckons residents to make themselves at home in the Hideaway Hills Lounge. Residents can enjoy the Grand Chaparral Ballroom, conference facilities, a demonstration kitchen and much more.

Outside is a summer oasis for adults and children alike. A 4,000 square foot pool and nearby kids wading pool with splash pad will keep the family cool all summer long.
Complete with shaded cabanas and a shower house, The Ranch House pool is more like a resort than a community center. A picnic lawn and BBQ area complete the outside features.

“The nice weather has brought many residents out to enjoy the pool, patio area and barbeques,” said Greg Dobson, The Ranch House general manger. “They like to call it their neighborhood backyard.”

The distinctive architecture of The Ranch House is in harmony with the community’s ranch-style theme. Residents are welcomed under a grand porte-cochere and simple, but stately stonework which adorns all sides of The Ranch House. A decorative iron entry gate greets visitors at the reception; and wooden water wheel on one side harkens back to a simpler time and adds more ranch-themed flare.

“We wanted to build something that was architecturally striking while still being as comfortable as the residents’ very own family rooms,” said Bob Anders, project manager for Newland Communities. “We knew The Ranch House would be the highlight of the community.”

Available throughout the facility, The Ranch House also features wireless internet access, allowing residents the opportunity to balance relaxation with the convenience of staying connected.  You may schedule a tour by contacting the Whitney Ranch Information Center.
